Welcome to the new financial year!

At Women's Network Australia, we know that when women's experiences are heard, industries become more innovative, products become more relevant and businesses make better decisions.

Kelly Pearson, WNA member and founder of Ladygarden Wines, is asking women across Australia to share their perspectives in a short research survey exploring women's experiences with wine. (A favourite topic for many of us!)

After more than 25 years in the wine industry, Kelly is seeking to better understand why so many women enjoy wine, yet can still feel uncertain, intimidated or overlooked when it comes to choosing, learning about or talking about wine. The insights gathered will help shape the next phase of her business and contribute to a deeper understanding of what women want from their wine experiences.

Whether you're wine-curious, an occasional wine drinker or someone who knows exactly what you enjoy, your perspective is valuable. The anonymous survey takes around seven minutes to complete, with all responses remaining private and used only for Ladygarden Wines' research analysis.

As a thank you, participants can choose to enter the draw to win a curated Women in Wine private tasting experience for up to eight people. Full details are included in the survey, which is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over, and closes at midnight (AEST) on Sunday 5 July.

If you have a few minutes to spare, we'd love to see our WNA community support this important piece of women-focused research. Complete the survey here: Ladygarden Wines Women's Wine Survey

Please feel free to share the survey with your friends, family and colleagues. The more women who participate, the richer the insights will be.

And here's a toast to what I hope is a prosperous and happy new financial year for you!

Everything is on the table. THE INVITE, a hilariously unpredictable new comedy directed by and starring Olivia Wilde, with Seth Rogen, Penélope Cruz, and Edward Norton. In cinemas July 9. Joe and Angela are on thin ice, and tonight might be when it all falls apart. Unfortunately, their upstairs neighbours are about to arrive for dinner, and everything that can go wrong goes worse.

You can see the movie trailer here.

Interested in checking out THE INVITE at Dendy Cinemas Coorparoo on Saturday 4 July from 6:30pm? Email bec@womensnetwork.com.au and share your most disturbing dinner party story to go in the running for a double pass to this preview screening! Don't delay!

Presented by Nicole Border and Berni Cooper, Co-founders of Fluxx, this session will provide attendees with:

  • A deeper understanding of the perimenopausal brain and why cognitive and emotional changes occur

  • Language to make sense of their experience with greater self-compassion rather than self-criticism

  • Insight into how these shifts can affect leadership, relationships, teams and workplace dynamics

  • Practical ways to work with their brain rather than against it during periods of high cognitive and emotional load

  • A greater sense of clarity, agency and connection in what they are navigating
