Can you afford to invest an hour in yourself this July? I hope so...
One of the things I love most about Women's Network Australia is that no matter where you are in your career or business journey, there is always an opportunity to learn something new, meet someone inspiring or gain a fresh perspective.
This month, we have three fantastic opportunities to do exactly that.
Our Winter Webinar Series continues with two timely and thought-provoking sessions, each designed to help you grow both personally and professionally.
Our first webinar, The Perimenopausal Brain at Work, explores a topic that affects many women but is still not talked about enough. Beyond the physical symptoms, many women experience changes in confidence, focus, memory and emotional wellbeing during perimenopause. This evidence-based session, presented by Nicole Border and Berni Cooper from Fluxx, will provide practical insights into understanding these changes, leading through them and working with your brain, rather than against it. Whether you're experiencing perimenopause yourself, leading a team or simply want to better understand the women around you, this is a conversation worth joining.
Later in the month, we're delighted to welcome Petra Williams for Be Visible – Stop Hiding in Plain Sight. Many talented women underestimate their value or wait until they feel "ready" before stepping forward. Petra will explore the beliefs and mindset patterns that keep us playing small and share practical strategies to help you be seen, heard and recognised for the value you bring. It's an empowering session for anyone ready to step confidently into the next chapter of their career or business.
And for our wonderful Tasmanian members, don't forget our Hobart July Luncheon featuring the wonderful Jane Clark. These gatherings have become a highlight of the WNA calendar, bringing together women from across business and the professions to build genuine connections, exchange ideas and support one another. If you're in Hobart or nearby, I'd love to see you there for an afternoon of conversation, networking and inspiration.
Lifelong learning isn't confined to classrooms. Sometimes the most valuable lessons come from hearing another woman's story, asking a question you've been hesitant to ask or making a connection that changes your perspective.
I encourage you to make time for yourself this month. Register for one of our webinars, join us in Hobart if you can, or perhaps do all three! You never know which conversation, insight or introduction might become the catalyst for your next opportunity.
I look forward to seeing many of you throughout July.
